At Limmud Shavuot we take care of everything - your meals, your children, your appetite for learning - all you have to do is book in, grab a hotel, and open your mind ready to absorb, project and create new friends.

Presenters

Limmud is made up of a number of sessions, panels and workshops, and the beauty of it all is that it is run by people like you. We would love you to pitch an idea or two, and join us as a presenter, or run a workshop, or be a panelist. Limmud is for you, by you! Meals

All of Limmud Shavuot's main meals will be catered. We will be joining together for Lunch and Dinner. It is an opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and create an environment.

Services

The ACT Jewish Community houses both an Orthodox and Progressive congregation, and both congregations will have visiting speakers delivering Sermons, guest Chazzanim and or Rabbis. 

Volunteering

One of the beautiful ethos of Limmud is that we create a community that looks after one another. If you would like to volunteer (minimum of three hours) you will greatly contribute to a successful weekend. Volunteers receieve a discount of 15% by entering the coupon volunteerLS2016

Baby Sitting and Kids/Youth Program

We will have babysitters looking after kids during afternoon and evening sessions. We will have madrichim working with us to create interactive and engaging programming for our kids and teens within our Young Limmud. 

Culture

Limmud is about learning something new, but Limmud Shavuot is more about experiencing something new. We will be offering Shabbat/Yom Tov Walking Tours each afternoon (weather dependent) to Parliament, Galleries and Museums.
